Taped Vibes
Taped Vibes takes one of the most iconic electric pianos ever and adds a brand-new smooth jazzy, laid-back spin to it. It was sampled through the old tape of a Space Echo, a vintage pre-amp, and through the Avalon Silver U5 DI box. This gives you the freedom to use this free HALion instrument for any kind of musical genre, ranging from buttery soul to gritty funk or chilled lofi.
Character
- Character On/Off
-
Activates/Deactivates the character effects Vibrato and Distortion.
- Vibrato
-
Adjusts the intensity of the vibrato effect, with a fixed rate that corresponds to the one in the original instrument.
- Distortion
-
Allows you to increase distortion and saturation by turning the control to the right. With the control set all the way to the left, no distortion is applied. As a result, you obtain the dry sound.
Sound

-
Allows you to choose from three different recording setups.
-
DI – The sound was recorded through an Avalon Silver U5 Di box.
-
Tape – The sound was recorded through the tape loop of a Space Echo RE-201.

NoteThe maximum delay time is 5000 ms. If the note length exceeds this value, it is automatically shortened.
- Feedback

Settings below 50% raise the early reflections and lower the tail. As a result, the sound source moves towards the front of the room. Settings above 50% raise the tail and lower the early reflections. As a result, the sound source moves toward the back of the room.
- Time
