Editing Tempo and Time Signature
You can set up a tempo and time signature for your project. By default, the tempo is set to 120 BPM, and the time signature to 4/4.

You can create a complete tempo track by recording MIDI events to the tempo of freely recorded audio or MIDI material.

The Calculate Tempo from MIDI Events dialog allows you to calculate the tempo from MIDI events and insert it into the tempo track.

The Calculate Tempo from MIDI Events dialog allows you to calculate the tempo from MIDI events and insert it into the tempo track.

To open the Calculate Tempo from MIDI Events dialog, select a MIDI event, and select MIDI > Functions > Calculate Tempo from MIDI Events.

Distance of Notes: Allows you to specify the distance of the recorded note events.
Begin at Bar Start: Activate this to calculate the tempo from the MIDI events and insert it into the tempo curve at the beginning of a bar.
