Track Inspector Sections

For audio-related and MIDI-related tracks, you can set up track-specific Inspector sections on the Set up Sections pane.

Depending on the track type, you can set up the following track Inspector sections:

Basics

Allows you to set up the basic track settings.

Routing

For audio-related channels/tracks, this allows you to set up the input and output routing.

For MIDI-related tracks, this allows you to set up the input and output routing and the MIDI channel.

Track Versions

Allows you to create and edit Track Versions.

Chords

For audio-related channels/tracks, this allows you to specify how the track follows the chord track.

For MIDI-related channels/tracks, this allows you to specify how the track follows the chord track.

Notepad

Allows you to enter annotations for the track.

Expression Map

For MIDI-related channels/tracks, this allows you to work with the Expression Map features.

Note Expression

For MIDI-related channels/tracks, this allows you to work with the Note Expression features.

MIDI Inserts

For MIDI-related channels/tracks, this allows you to add MIDI insert effects.

MIDI Modifiers

For MIDI-related channels/tracks, this allows you to transpose or to adjust the velocity of the MIDI track events in real time during playback.

MIDI Sends

For MIDI-related channels/tracks, this allows you to add MIDI send effects.

MIDI Fader

Shows a duplicate of the corresponding MixConsole channel.

Inserts

For audio-related channels/tracks, this allows you to add audio insert effects.

EQ

For audio-related channels/tracks, this allows you to adjust up to four bands of EQs.

Sends

For audio-related channels/tracks, this allows you to select send effects.

Direct Routing

For audio-related channels/tracks, this allows you to set up direct routing.

Fader

Shows a duplicate of the corresponding MixConsole channel.

Cue Sends

For audio-related tracks/channels and for MIDI-related channels/tracks that are routed to an instrument, this allows you to activate and control the level and pan for up to 4 cue sends.

Surround Pan

For audio-related tracks/channels, this shows the pan control for a track.

Network

Shows the network connection of the track.

Device Panel

Allows you to display and use device panels.

QC

Allows you to configure quick controls to use remote devices, for example.

Note

To expand/collapse a section, click its header or the arrow to the left of the section header. If the section is too narrow, the arrow is automatically hidden.
