Activating Recording Manually

You can activate recording manually.

Procedure

  • Do one of the following:

    • Click Record on the Transport panel, on the toolbar, or in the Transport Bar.

    • Press Num *.

Result

Recording starts from the current cursor position.

Note

When you start recording in stop mode, you can start recording from the left locator. For this to work, you must select Transport > Common Record Modes and activate Start Record at Left Locator/Punch In Position. The metronome count-in will be applied.
